Privacy policy

Civil HOD (“we”, “us”) provides construction management software to companies in India. This policy explains what we collect on this website and in the Civil HOD application, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Demo and contact requests — name, company, phone, and optionally email, city, team size and your message. Used only to respond to you.
• Account data — when your company subscribes, we store the Company ID, user names, roles, email/phone if provided, and the project data your team enters (progress reports, bills, stock, attendance, etc.). Your company controls this data; we process it on your behalf.
• Security logs — sign-in attempts, IP address, browser type, and an audit trail of changes inside the application. Kept to protect your account and to investigate incidents.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
• We do not read your project data except to provide support you have requested or as required by law.

Where data is stored

Application data is hosted on servers located in India and backed up nightly to encrypted off-site storage. Transactional email is sent through a third-party email provider; only the recipient address and message content required for delivery is shared with them.

Retention

Demo requests are deleted 12 months after the last contact. Company data is retained for the life of the subscription and for 90 days after it ends, so you can export it; after that it is permanently deleted. Security and audit logs are kept for 24 months (tenant) or 7 years (platform billing records).

Your rights

You can ask us to correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to export your company’s data, by emailing hello@civilhod.in. Company data requests must come from a Company Admin.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. The application sets strictly necessary session cookies only (sign-in, two-step verification, remembered device). There are no analytics or marketing cookies.

Changes

We will post updates to this page and change the date above. Material changes are emailed to Company Admins.
